Supply Teaching Assistants Required - Day-to-Day Supply Work

TimePlan Education are currently recruiting experienced and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants for flexible day-to-day assignments in primary and secondary, SEND schools around Sutton and surrounding areas.

We are looking for candidates who are confident supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and can quickly build positive relationships with students and staff.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom and during learning activities
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support, including for students with SEND
  • Assisting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language difficulties
  • Encouraging engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to support student progress


Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting or similar role
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Must be available to work school hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm
