We are seeking a reliable and skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the technical team at a major London-based entertainment venue. This role is essential to ensuring the safe and smooth operation of all shows, facilities, and supporting systems.As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for:Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and venue policiesCovering the planned and reactive maintenance to electrical and mechanical servicesSupporting emergency evacuation procedures and safety drillsMaintaining and testing emergency systems, including fire safety and evacuation lightingReporting equipment failures and safety concerns promptlyCompleting pre-show checklists and technical reportsKeeping equipment service records and warranty documentation up to dateCoordinating with contractors and service providers when neededAssisting with equipment inventory management and procurementPlease note that this role involves shift work including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. On occasion, you may also be required to work at other sites, including central London offices and production locations.About You

We are looking for someone with:Ideally previous experience in a theatre, live events, arena, festival, or entertainment venueElectrical qualifications: CandG 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)Strong knowledge of building fabric and plant systemsBasic mechanical repair skillsKnowledge of entertainment industry safety standards and regulationsThe ability to remain calm and resolve problems under pressureA methodical, detail-focused approach to workExcellent teamwork and communication skillsPhysical fitness for manual handling and working at heightDesirable but not essential
