Contract type: Permanent - Part Time / Bank. Working Pattern: Days (2 days x 6hrs per day).

Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for older people in financial difficulty. Kidderminster Day Care in Worcestershire is a specialist dementia support service, run by a dedicated and experienced team of staff that offers personalised care and support. The service is safe, secure and homely and offers a wide range of activities.

Joining our committed team as a

Day Care Assistant , you will provide a high standard of holistic care and support for our clients so they can maintain independence, autonomy, choice and lead fulfilled lives.

Responsibilities

Ensure clients are at the heart of our day care delivery and that their physical, social and wellbeing needs are being met.

Ensure that we always offer high standards of care.

Facilitate a client’s choice, dignity and respect.

Keep our clients safe and secure.

Qualifications

Experience in working with older people is welcome.

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.

We will provide training to help you excel in this role.
