Data Communications Technician - South EastPosition: Data Communications Technician Type: Full-time We are partnering with a specialist engineering organization delivering bespoke, mission-critical network infrastructure for global clients. We are seeking a Data Communications Technician to join their Enterprise Engineering team to assist in the design, deployment, and support of complex, high-availability systems.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support: Act as a key escalation point for service issues, delivering timely, accurate technical analysis.Deployment and Integration: Support the build, commissioning, and on-site installation of complex client networks.System Maintenance: Assist in the management of VoIP, virtualization, and high-availability infrastructure.Documentation: Maintain rigorous project records and assist in the evaluation of new service solutions.Support Rota: Participate in the technical support rota to ensure service continuity.Your ProfileSecurity Clearance: Must be SC cleared or eligible for SC clearance.Education: Degree (2:1) or HND/HNC in IT, Electronics, or Computer Science.Certifications: Active Cisco or Microsoft qualifications.Networking: Expertise in TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, and Layer 7 firewalls.Soft Skills: A proactive, "can-do" approach with strong diagnostic and documentation skills.Desirables: Experience in Linux/Windows server environments, VoIP/Asterisk, and scripting (Bash/Perl).To apply, please submit your CV ..... full job details .....
