Your new companyWorking for a renowned financial services organisation.Your new roleThe Oracle DBA/ Database Engineer is responsible for designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining database systems that are secure, reliable, and scalable. This role involves supporting and mentoring the operational database team by promoting best practices, driving automation, and introducing innovative technologies and approaches. The engineer will take ownership of operational requirements and ensure that any changes to standards and processes are implemented consistently across the organization. Beyond hands-on technical responsibilities, the position requires active participation in project meetings, planning sessions, and related activities under the guidance of project managers.
