Data Specialist
Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Specialist to manage, analyze, and maintain data across enterprise systems. The role involves ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility while supporting business intelligence, reporting, and decision-making processes. The Data Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data management practices with business needs.
Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and maintain large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across databases and systems.
Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business insights.
Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to define data requirements.
Monitor data pipelines and resolve data quality or processing issues.
Implement and enforce data governance, security, and compliance policies.
Contribute to process improvements in data management and reporting workflows.
Required Skills and Experience
3–6+ years of experience in data management, data analysis, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred
Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
Knowledge of Python, R, or other scripting languages for data manipulation.
