Data ScientistSlough - 2 days per weekUp to £520 per day - inside IR35Initial 6 month contractSQL/Python/PySpark/NLP/Gen AI/AzureThis is a hands-on Data Scientist role within the Journey Insights team, focused on building and delivering data science solutions that improve understanding of customer contact journeys. Working with both structured and unstructured data, you will uncover insights and identify opportunities to enhance customer and operational outcomes.You will combine machine learning, NLP, and Generative AI techniques to extract value from text, develop predictive and analytical models, and take ownership of deploying data science products into production.Key skills will include:Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into clear analytical problems, developing and delivering end-to-end data science solutions that generate tangible business valueExperience integrating structured and unstructured data sources to create meaningful features for modelling, analysis and GenAI-powered applicationsProven track record of developing data science solutions using NLP and Generative AI techniques, including text classification, summarisation, entity extraction, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and LLM-enabled workflowsStrong programming expertise in SQL, Python and PySpark, applying software engineering best practices such as code readability, version control, testing and reproducibilityExperience deploying data science models and ..... full job details .....
