Data Scientist - SC ClearedWe are supporting a government department in a GDS environment with the appointment of an SC-cleared Data Scientist to join a high-performing technology team.This role requires strong hands-on experience across Google BigQuery, DataForm, JavaScript procedures, Python, statistics, and data modelling. You will work with complex datasets to build analytical models, transform and structure data, and generate insight to support operational and strategic decision-making.Key responsibilities:Build and maintain analytical and data modelsUse BigQuery to query, manage, and optimise large datasetsDevelop data transformation workflows using DataForm and JavaScript proceduresApply Python for analysis, modelling, and automationUse statistical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and insightsTranslate business questions into clear analytical outputsWork closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an agile delivery environmentRequired experience:Active SC clearanceStrong experience in a Data Scientist or similar analytical roleHands-on use of Google BigQueryExperience with DataFormStrong Python capabilityGood understanding of statistics and data modellingDesirable:Government or public sector experienceExperience in a GDS environmentExposure to large operational ..... full job details .....
