Data Scientist - Contract - 6 MonthsRate: £500 per dayIR35: InsideDuration: 6 Months (extendable)Location: Remote / Occasional travel to Southwest EnglandThe role:A large organisation is seeking a Data Scientist to support the delivery of AI and machine learning solutions across an evolving enterprise data environment.This is a hands-on role working across the full ML lifecycle, from prototype through to production, focused on delivering scalable, value-driven outcomes.Experience requirements and Responsibilities:Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems.Translate prototypes into production-ready solutions.Build and maintain data pipelines and ML infrastructure.Prepare and analyse large datasets, extracting actionable insights.Evaluate, optimise and monitor model performance.Support the design and delivery of AI initiatives.Work within Agile teams and engage with stakeholders across the business.Essential:Strong Python skills (R, Java or C++ beneficial).Experience with ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch).Experience working with large datasets and data tools.Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualisation.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).Strong communication skills.
