Data Scientist

Location: Central London Salary: £60K base + bonus + benefits Permanent role Work Mode: Hybrid This role is highly focused on Deep Learning, NLP, BERT/Transformers, probabilistic ML, Bayesian modelling, and optimisation, with opportunities to work on complex projects across healthcare, technology, green energy, and other sectors. Particularly someone who has: relevant experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or NLP. Strong hands-on programming skills in Python, R, or Scala. Strong experience developing and deploying Machine Learning/Deep Learning models. Solid understanding of NLP, preferably working with real-world unstructured text/data. Experience with BERT, Transformers, and fine-tuning language models. Strong understanding of statistics, probability, Bayesian modelling, and optimisation. Good SQL and relational database knowledge. Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP. Comfortable working in a research-oriented environment involving experimentation, analysis, and mathematical problem-solving. Experience with Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, SQL, and ideally BERT/Transformer models andamp; fine-tuning, Named Entity Recognition (NER), Named Entity Linking (NEL), Natural Language Inference (NLI), Knowledge Graphs, Neo4j/Gremlin would be particularly relevant.
