Data Quality Manager

Excellent opportunity for a GIS Data Quality Manager to join a dynamic geospatial data company. With a variety of mobile mapping capture projects to complete in widespread global locations, we''re looking for individuals who can help us improve the quality of the data and information assets we rely on and use. You will lead the definition of quality within the data governance framework, ensuring all data, information assets used to underpin decision-making across the wider business and externally - are reliable, consistent, accurate and aligned with the relevant data quality standards. Responsibilities Managing data quality associated with geospatial data Define data quality objectives as part of the data governance strategy. Drive practical, collaborative engagement with data owners so that data quality objectives can be understood in terms of value, and successfully adopted into new ways of working. Identify relevant data quality standards, and objectively monitor progress against them - ensuring consistency and integrity across data and information assets. Evaluate and implement tools to support data quality management across the lifecycle (including being hands-on with data cleansing and data validation processes).
