Data Protection Manager (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract) Location: Ashford, Kent Salary: £40,000 per annum (pro rata) Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract (6 Months) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Diamond Search Recruitment is delighted to be supporting our client in the recruitment of an experienced Data Protection Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Ashford, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Protection or Information Governance professional to join a well-established organisation, leading the operational delivery of data protection and information governance across the business. Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure compliance with UK GDPR, Data Protection legislation and Information Governance best practice while acting as the organisation''s internal expert on all data protection matters. Key Responsibilities Operational delivery of Data Protection and Information Governance across the organisation. Manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and Information Governance processes. Lead Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Privacy Notices and Information Sharing Agreements. Develop, implement and review Information Governance policies and procedures. Support compliance with UK GDPR, Data Protection legislation and the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT).
