Data Protection Lead

Job Title: Data Protection Lead Rate: 33.16 per hour (Umbrella) Contract: 3-month rolling Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week in Camden office, 4 days remoteOverview We are seeking an experienced Data Protection Lead to join a Housing Association on a temporary basis. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will support the Data Protection Manager and collaborate with other Leads to ensure compliance with data protection legislation while enabling business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead work to meet upcoming data protection complaint requirements (June deadline), including reviewing policies, procedures, and hybrid complaint handling processesDrive improvements and efficiencies in incident and breach management, including reporting and use of a privacy management platformLead the review and update of privacy notices across multiple websites and servicesSupport assurance activities to ensure policies, procedures, and notices remain compliant and up to dateAbout YouStrong knowledge of UK data protection and privacy legislationProven experience applying data protection principles in an operational environmentExperience within Housing or a similar regulated sector is desirableAbility to work collaboratively with stakeholders and influence best practiceAdditional InformationHybrid working: 1 day per week in Camden officeSubject to Basic Criminal Record CheckIf you''re a proactive Data Protection professional looking to make an immediate impact, we''d love to hear from you.Eden ..... full job details .....
