Data Protection Lead - £650 per day - 6 Month Contract Rate: £650 per dayIR35: InsideLocation: Hybrid - London, Bristol or ManchesterContract: 6 months (extendable) The Role: A Central Government organisation is looking for a hands-on Data Protection Lead to support major digital delivery programmes. This is not a strategic DPO role. We need someone who is still close to the detail - someone who enjoys getting into the weeds, writing DPIAs, assessing privacy risks and working directly with developers, software engineers, data architects and product teams. You''ll embed Privacy by Design into digital products and help delivery teams navigate GDPR, data sharing and privacy risks in a pragmatic way - using data protection to enable delivery, not block it. What we''re looking for Proven, hands-on experience producing DPIAs and delivering Privacy by Design within digital/technical projects Experience working directly with developers, software engineers, data architects and product teams Strong working knowledge of GDPR and data protection, ideally gained on large-scale transformation or digital programmes Comfortable working with ambiguity and finding pragmatic solutions to manage privacy risk Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and communicating clear recommendations and risks Strong interpersonal skills - collaborative, approachable and able to work independently Government or large-scale digital delivery experience highly desirable Data sharing experience and ..... full job details .....
