Data Protection Executive £35,000 Hybrid (3 Days in office) Birmingham City CentreOur client is a Professional Services firm with an outstanding reputation. An opportunity has arisen for Data Protection Executive to join its dedicated Information Governance and Data Protection team in Birmingham city centre.This is a hybrid role offering exposure to a broad range of data protection and information governance matters across public sector, housing and corporate transactions. You will support the Data Protection Department Leader and contribute to both client-facing and internal governance work.This varied and busy role will entail:Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and governance reviewsAdvising on data breaches and confidentiality mattersManaging Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Freedom of Information (FoI) responsesSupporting DP due diligence and data sharing documentation in corporate transactionsReviewing legal enquiry responses and identifying data protection risksDelivering data protection training to clientsRequirementsKnowledge of UK GDPR and data protection legislationExperience of advising and responding to SAR RequestGood Knowledge of FOI''s and DPIAsStrong written communication and analytical skillsAbility to manage a varied workload with accuracyApplicants MUST BE BIRMINGHAM BASEDKatie Bard is acting as an agency and is an equal opportunities ..... full job details .....
