Data Protection Compliance Manager£200 per day (Umbrella) 6-Month Contract Fully Remote 37.5 Hours per WeekHays are recruiting on behalf of a public sector organisation for an experienced Data Protection Compliance Manager to support a busy Information Governance function on a 6-month contract.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Protection professional with strong experience across GDPR compliance, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Subject Access Requests (SARs), information governance, and data protection investigations. Working remotely, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, providing expert advice to stakeholders, and supporting ongoing data protection initiatives.Your New RoleAs Data Protection Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organisation''s data protection and information governance framework, ensuring compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and associated legislation.Key responsibilities will include: Leading and advising on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new projects, systems and data processing activities. Supporting the management of complex Subject Access Requests (SARs), including review, redaction and disclosure decisions. Providing expert guidance on data protection legislation, information governance and information-sharing practices.
