Data Privacy Manager

Job Description We''re looking for an experienced Data Privacy Manager to join our Data Privacy team and support the Data Protection Officer in overseeing privacy and data protection across AJ Bell. This is a second line role, providing independent advice, challenge, assurance and oversight across the business. You''ll work closely with colleagues at all levels to help manage privacy risk, embed good data protection practices and ensure we continue to meet our regulatory obligations as the business evolves. It''s a varied role that will give you exposure across AJ Bell, combining technical data protection expertise with stakeholder engagement, risk management and governance. What you''ll be doing: Providing clear, practical data protection advice and guidance to stakeholders across the business. Reviewing and advising on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new initiatives, products, systems and changes. Supporting the management of personal data breaches, including investigation, risk assessment, reporting and remediation. Reviewing and advising on data subject rights requests, helping to ensure they are handled effectively and within statutory timescales. Producing monthly privacy MI, identifying trends and providing meaningful insight to support effective oversight and decision-making.
