Data Modelling and Analytics Engineer (Databricks and Microsoft Fabric)

Data Modelling andamp; Analytics Engineer (Databricks andamp; Microsoft Fabric) is required by a global software company to join its AI andamp; Data team, and to design and deliver high-quality analytics-ready data supporting decision making across the organisation. You will be responsible for: Owning and improving the Gold layer of the Databricks Medallion Architecture, delivering business-ready datasets Designing and building scalable data models (star schema, SCD/CDC) for a reliable semantic layer Building and optimizing data pipelines across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers Developing solutions in Databricks and integrating with Microsoft Fabric for end-to-end workflows Translating business needs into clear, governed data models Enhancing and scaling Microsoft Fabric analytics solutions Driving best practices in data modelling, governance, and architecture Troubleshooting and improving ETL/ELT processes for performance and reliability Documenting data models, pipelines, and transformations for reuse and clarity Required experience and skills: Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Medallion Architecture (with focus on Gold layer design). Data modelling including Star schema andamp; dimensional modelling and SCD/CDC patterns Experience designing and delivering analytics-ready datasets and semantic layers for BI tools SQL and Python Exposure to Microsoft Fabric Experience in building lakehouse architectures for enterprise ..... full job details .....
