      <description>Location: City of Edinburgh | Salary: &amp;pound;525 - &amp;pound;600/day | Type: Contract | Data Modeller | Contract Edinburgh, Hybrid £525 to £600 per day Inside IR35 Initial 6 months Bright Purple are looking for an experienced Data Modeller to join a major data transformation programme in Edinburgh.This is a hands on role focused on creating clear, reusable data models that connect business concepts with technical implementation. You’ll work closely with domain experts, architects, analysts, data product teams and engineers to improve how data is understood, structured and used across the organisation.You’ll be working across conceptual, logical and physical data modelling, helping establish common definitions, relationships and standards while supporting the design of modern data products.  What we’re looking for • Strong commercial Data Modelling experience • Conceptual, logical and physical data modelling • Experience with Snowflake or a comparable modern cloud data platform • Strong SQL and data querying skills • Business entity and domain modelling • Data product schemas and data contracts • Source to target mapping and transformation logic • Metadata, business glossary and data catalogue experience • Experience with established data modelling tools and repositori...</description>
