You will join one of the UK''s leading financial services companies, who have built their success by putting people at the heart of their organisation by identifying and delivering products and services that are right for their customers. My client is looking for a Data Modeller to play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support our enterprise data strategy. You''ll collaborate closely with Architecture, Data Product, and Engineering teams to build scalable, high-performing data solutions within our modern data platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning and modelling data structures aligned to strategic data products and long-term business outcomesDeveloping conceptual, logical, and physical data models using industry best practiceEnsuring alignment with enterprise reference architecture and governance standardsAnalysing data integration challenges and recommending effective solutionsIdentifying reuse opportunities across existing models and improving modelling consistencyEssential SkillsStrong experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data modelsKnowledge of normalisation, denormalisation, and best-practice modelling techniquesUnderstanding of metadata management, data governance, and data quality frameworksProficiency with SQL and ideally one or more programming languages (eg, Python, PySpark)Experience with database technologies and data warehousing principles (star schema, snowflake, data ..... full job details .....
