Data Modeler (Specialty Insurance)

Overview

We’re seeking a skilled and adaptable Senior Data Modeler to join an expanding Technology team within a leading specialty insurance institution. You’ll play a key role in designing and maintaining enterprise-wide conceptual, logical data and physical models for the organisation.Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the enterprise-wide conceptual data model to provide a high level view of data domains, entities and their relationships, and logical data models with detailed attributes, data relationships, and normalization rules, ensuring alignment with business rules and objectivesWork closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into structured data models that meet organisational needsEnsure conceptual and logical data models are reusable, scalable and adaptable to evolving business demandsQualifications

Extensive experience in data modelling, with a strong focus on conceptual and logical data models and proven expertise in designing and implementing physical data modelsExperience in the specialty insurance industryProficiency in SQL and scriptingExcellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detailExperience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake and Azure is preferredEmployment type
