Data Migration Specialist 6-Month Contract Start date - early October start £48,559 per annum 6-month contract Mostly Remote 1 day per month in office ASAP start We''re working with a leading UK not-for-profit organisation that is undertaking a major Data, Digital and Technology Transformation Programme. As part of this programme, they are looking for an experienced Data Migration Specialist to join the team on a 6-month contract, providing parental leave cover for a key technical role. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on data migration professional to play a central role in a significant CRM transformation, helping ensure that data is accurately extracted, cleansed, transformed and successfully migrated into a new CRM environment. The role You''ll act as a key technical contact for data migration activities throughout the contract, working closely with internal teams, external partners and technical stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: Extracting data from legacy systems using SQL and agreed extraction procedures. Analysing source data to identify quality issues, anomalies, gaps and inconsistencies. Cleansing, standardising and transforming data in line with approved business rules and mapping specifications. Designing and maintaining data mappings, migration documentation, procedures and technical runbooks. Creating and maintaining datasets for migration, testing, reconciliation and validation.
