Data Governance Federated Data Governance DAMA Data Governance SME - ContractLocation: hybrid I am working with a client who have a contract requirement for an experienced Data Governance SME to join their team and support the development and implementation of a federated data governance model. This is a key role focused on building governance capability and capacity across the organisation. The successful candidate will bring a practical understanding of data governance frameworks and the ability to work with stakeholders to establish sustainable governance practices. Key Responsibilities Support the design and build-out of a federated data governance operating model. Help establish clear data governance roles, responsibilities, ownership and accountability across business and data domains. Develop and embed governance processes, standards, policies and frameworks. Work with data owners, data stewards and business stakeholders to build data governance capability and capacity. Provide expert guidance on data governance principles, best practice and operating models. Support the development of data governance forums, processes and decision-making structures. Identify opportunities to improve data quality, ownership, stewardship and accountability. Help define and implement practical governance standards that can be adopted across different business areas.
