A global insurance firm is seeking an experienced and highly motivated and experienced Data Governance andamp; Quality Lead to join their Data andamp; Analytics team. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and promoting best practices across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data analysts to enhance the accessibility, accuracy, and integrity of the firm''s data. This role is paying up to £65,000 plus great benefits including 25 days holiday, 8% pension, private healthcare and is fully remote/work from home. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive data governance strategy and framework to ensure compliance, consistency, and alignment with organizational goals. Establish data quality standards, policies, and procedures. Define and enforce data policies, data classification standards, and data security protocols to ensure the proper handling of organizational data. Collaborate with key stakeholders across business units to understand data requirements and challenges. Oversee data stewardship activities, and develop and track key data quality metrics Ensure data governance and quality initiatives comply with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements (eg, GDPR, CCPA).
