Data Engineering Manager/Microsoft Fabric

Data Engineering Manager is required by a large organisation to lead the design, delivery, and operation of a Microsoft Fabric-based data platform supporting BI, analytics, AI/ML and other data initiatives across the organisation. You will be responsible for: Leading, mentoring, and growing a team of data engineers. Owning the roadmap for Fabric-based data platform. Managing delivery of data engineering projects and platform improvements against agreed quality, timescales, and business needs. Overseeing the design, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of data pipelines and data integrations. Ensuring successful delivery of data assets. Ensuring platform availability, performance and reliability. Embedding data quality, security, and governance controls throughout the data platform. Building strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, and managing third-party/supplier relationships Establishing engineering standards and driving CI/CD, DevOps, and automation practices. Required Experience: Significant experience in data engineering/platform roles, with a proven track record delivering complex data platform solutions. Experience leading or managing technical engineering teams. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric. SQL, Python, and data modelling skills. CI/CD, Git, and DevOps/infrastructure-as-code experience. ..... full job details .....
