      <description>Location: Peterborough | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Our client is the Leader in their field and have ambitious plans supported by strong business pipeline to double the revenue of their business by the end of 2028. To enable this, they are embarking on a bold and significant business transformation reviewing and improving operational processes across the Group and modernising their technology stack. The Software Engineering team is close to being complete with Engineers, DevOps, Architect and Automation Testers hired. Now attention it turning to Data where we are looking for a Data Engineer. Currently the Data Team use SAS and MicroStrategy and Power BI for internal reporting. The Data team provide data analysis and insights on sales figures to their clients across the UK with one system providing one million lines of sales data every morning detailing how many units, where, when. A lot of legacy systems need migrating and moving from on-premise to Cloud. The new data platform will be Snowflake, but any experience of that, Fabric or Databricks or another Enterprise Data Platform is all good relevant experience.
