Data Engineer x 3Telford/Hybrid - 2 days onsite£460 per day inside ir356 month contractActive SC clearanceWe are currently recruiting for three Data Engineers to join a major data transformation and migration programme within a secure public-sector environment.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Data Engineers to work on a large-scale migration from SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya 3.5 to SAS Viya 4 on AWS, helping to design, build and optimise the data pipelines and integration processes required to support the transition.The RoleYou will be responsible for developing robust, scalable data pipelines and supporting the migration and transformation of data between Legacy and modern SAS environments.You will work closely with SAS Developers, Architects, Business Analysts and Test teams to ensure data integrity, performance, security and quality throughout the migration.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop ETL/data pipelines to support migration to SAS Viya 4.Build and optimise data flows within a cloud-native AWS environment.Work with SAS Developers to refactor existing processes for SAS Viya 4 compatibility.Develop data transformation, validation and quality processes.Automate data ingestion and processing workflows.Integrate pipelines into CI/CD environments using Jenkins and Git.Implement monitoring and alerting for data quality and pipeline health.Support testing, UAT and production readiness activities.Work collaboratively within Agile and DevOps teams.What We''re ..... full job details .....
