Venn Group are working in partnership with a well-regarded public sector organisation to recruit a Data Engineer into a growing data and analytics function.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data professional to play a key role in shaping and developing modern data solutions that support operational reporting, business intelligence and strategic decision making.You''ll be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, developing robust data models and ensuring high quality, secure and accessible data across the organisation''s reporting environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and related technologiesDevelop lakehouse architectures, data models and semantic layersIntegrate data from a variety of operational systems, cloud platforms and APIsOptimise datasets and reporting performance within the Microsoft ecosystemSupport data governance, quality, security and compliance initiativesWork closely with analysts and stakeholders to deliver effective data solutionsRequirementsProven experience in data engineering using Microsoft Fabric, Azure or similar platformsStrong knowledge of data modelling and modern analytics architecturesExperience optimising data for Power BI reporting and dashboardsStrong SQL skills with experience of DAX and Python or other scripting languagesUnderstanding of data governance, GDPR and data quality best practiceExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement ..... full job details .....
