Data Engineer

Sellick Partnership are currently partnered with a Public Sector organisation to recruit an experienced Data Engineer to support the continued development and evolution of its enterprise data platform.This is a key technical role responsible for designing, building and maintaining scalable data platforms and pipelines that enable trusted data for reporting, analytics and business decision-making. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across data engineering initiatives, ensuring solutions are secure, reliable and aligned with wider organisational objectives.This role offers a predominantly remote working arrangement, with only occasional onsite attendance required for key meetings or collaboration sessions.As the Data Engineer, you will work closely with architects, analysts, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions, establish engineering best practice and contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation''s data capability.What you will be doing as Data Engineer:Lead the design, development and optimisation of enterprise data pipelines and integration solutions.Build and maintain secure, scalable and reliable data platforms to support analytics and reporting.Define and promote engineering standards covering automation, testing, monitoring and documentation.Implement data quality, validation and monitoring processes to improve the reliability of data products.Investigate and resolve complex data issues, driving ..... full job details .....
