Data Engineer (SAS) - SC Cleared | Public Sector We are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support live services within a large-scale, high-impact data platform in the Public sector. This is a fast-paced environment working on a critical system that processes and analyses significant volumes of data to support key operational outcomes. Role Overview You will play a key role in supporting live services, resolving incidents, and contributing to ongoing development. This position requires a hands-on engineer with strong experience in SAS, Oracle SQL, and Unix/Linux. Key Responsibilities Support live services by resolving incidents and problems Contribute to development and system enhancements Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment Ensure stability and performance of the platform Engage with stakeholders and support customer-facing activities Required Skills and Experience Strong SAS 9.4 programming experience Solid Unix/Linux skills Experience with Oracle SQL Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Good planning and organisational capabilities Active SC Clearance (essential) Desirable Skills Experience with SAS Viya Knowledge of GitLab and CI/CD pipelines Location and Contract Details Location: Mostly remote (hybrid, 2 days onsite monthly with occasional travel) Duration: 6 months Rate: Up to £400-£460/day inside IR35 If this matches your skill set, apply ..... full job details .....
