Data Engineer

to join the Customer Relationship Centre team at a globally recognised automotive brand. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, modernising legacy systems, and making customer data work harder, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).This is an opportunity to be at the centre of a large-scale digital transformation, helping unify data from multiple systems and ensuring the business can act on insight, not just information.This is perfect for:Data Engineers who want to get hands-on with GCP, BigQuery, Dataflow and more, modernising cloud data infrastructure.Data specialists who love building scalable pipelines and ensuring data quality, enabling analytics teams to deliver impact.Engineers looking to join a high-profile automotive business where customer data is driving change and shaping the future.What we’re looking for:Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience building pipelines and ETL processes.Hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Dataflow).Knowledge of CRM systems and customer data flows.Familiarity with ETL frameworks (Airflow) and version control (Git / CI/CD).Experience working cross-functionally with Data Analysts, CRM, and operational teams.Desirable (not essential!):GCP certification (e.g. Professional Data Engineer).Experience with real-time streaming and API integrations.Exposure to Tableau or similar BI/visualisation tools.This is a

Coventry-based hybrid role
