Data Engineer

Must hold an Active SC ClearanceData Engineer required for a long-term engagement, offering competitive rates, supporting a large-scale data migration and cloud transformation programme. Hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite in the West Midlands, working primarily with ETL, SAS and AWS technologies. Competitive rates available. Active SC Clearance required - candidates must hold active SC clearance from a recognised governing body. Key Responsibilities Design and develop ETL pipelines for large-scale data migration Build and optimise data flows within cloud-based environments Work with development teams to refactor and enhance existing data processes Implement data transformations, validation and quality checks Develop automated workflows using DevOps and CI/CD tools Integrate data pipelines into continuous delivery frameworks Implement monitoring and alerting for data quality and pipeline health Support UAT, production readiness and data validation activities Collaborate with architects, business analysts and testing teams Skills andamp; Experience Active SC Clearance required Strong Data Engineering and ETL experience Experience with SAS Data Integration, Pentaho or Talend Strong experience with SAS 9.4 and/or SAS Viya Strong SQL and Python skills Experience with AWS and cloud-based data solutions Docker/Kubernetes experience desirable Experience with data modelling, performance tuning and large-scale migration Git/Jenkins and CI/CD experience Strong communication and ..... full job details .....
