Data Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid) with occasional client travel Salary: Up to £60,000 We are recruiting for a Data Engineer to join a growing consultancy, delivering production-grade data platforms for some of the UKs leading organisations. This is a client-facing role where you''ll design and build scalable cloud-based data solutions, working with modern technologies including AWS, Databricks and Agentic AI. you''ll benefit from structured training, clear career progression and the opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-scale projects. Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms. Develop robust data architectures and support the full software development life cycle. Build tooling for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and data quality. Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. Explore and apply emerging technologies, including Agentic AI, to improve data engineering processes. About You you''ll have: 2-4 years experience in Data Engineering. Strong skills in Python, SQL and DBT. Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Databricks. Knowledge of AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS and DynamoDB. Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK, Git and modern development practices. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
