Data Engineer - DataStage Engineer

Our key client is looking for a Data Engineer/DataStage Developer to join on a 12 month+ on going contract as remote worker with occasional travel to a site in London. Data Engineer - DataStage Engineer 12 months+ contract Inside IR35 - UmbrellaPlease note BPSS will be conducted and then SC - must have 5 years continuous UK residency for eligibility - SC Clearance is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining DataStage pipelines, utilising their expertise in data integration and manipulation, to transform data from the source to the client MAS target model.Your Roles and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain DataStage pipelines to support the client project. Apply your knowledge of MOSAIC or 10-step Data Migration Methodologies to ensure efficient data migration processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. - Utilise key technologies such as DataStage, XML, XSLT, and Jira for effective project management and issue tracking. Required skills:MUST BE A UK NATIONAL with a minimum of 5 years residencyProven experience in DataStage Designer. - Familiarity with MOSAIC, 10-step Data Migration Methodologies or equivalent data migration methodologies. - Strong proficiency in XML and XSLT for data transformation tasks. - Proficient use of Jira for project management and issue tracking. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with ..... full job details .....
