Data Engineer

The UK''s leading innovation accelerator organisation is seeking a technical and back-end focussed Data Engineer to join their Data Science team delivering digital and data solutions which accelerate innovation in the UK transport and build environment domains. This role is paying up to £47,000 DOE plus good benefits. The role is hybrid (2 days a week in either London, Milton Keynes or Birmingham offices) and the organisation operate a 9 day fortnight, with every other Friday a non-working day. In this role you''ll contribute to a wide range of projects, working alongside technologists, researchers, designers, project managers and external partners from industry, academia and government. The role is data architecture/back-end focussed and would suit someone who enjoys problem solving and applying data science to real-world settings and challenges. You will have opportunities to work with emerging digital technologies including digital twins, geospatial analytics, infrastructure data, and innovation testbeds. You will work as part of multidisciplinary teams under the guidance of more senior data science colleagues and contribute to technical analysis and solution design while continuously learning and upskilling on the job, including developing your domain expertise, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills.
