Data Claims Caseworker Paralegal

Role: Data Claims Caseworker / Paralegal - Manchester A leading Legal 500 firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Caseworker / Paralegal to join its Claims Against Public Authorities team on a permanent basis. About the Role: The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the New Client Diary and case set-up/onboarding as well as assistant casework support to the other lawyers in the department. You will be involved with speaking/communicating with new clients and, as part of that role, will be expected to obtain all relevant evidence from them ahead of case opening. The successful candidate will preferably have prior experience with Data Claims work or at least an interest in data protection, privacy rights as well as unlawful processing/disclosure/retention/misuse of personal data. Main Responsibilities of the Role: Reporting directly to the Departmental Director Communicating/liaising with new and existing clients by taking initial instructions and obtaining evidence in support of their claims.
