Data Centre Shift Engineer

Job Title: Data Centre Shift Engineer Location: Chertsey Working Pattern: Shift Work Salary: up to £50K per annum Onsite We''re looking for a Data Centre Shift Engineer to join our Data Centre Solutions team. In this role, you''ll be responsible for maintaining and operating electrical and mechanical systems on site, ensuring they run smoothly, safely, and to industry standards.Key Responsibilities:* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.* Operate and maintain building services such as BMS, UPS, generators, HVAC, and fire systems.* Identify and resolve faults, escalating where required.* Support with installations and modifications of site services.* Keep accurate records using computer-based systems (PPM).* Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and housekeeping.* Communicate effectively with the Shift Supervisor on plant status, issues, and ongoing works.Skills andamp; Experience:* Previous experience in building services or facilities maintenance.* City andamp; Guilds Level 1 andamp; 2 or equivalent in electrical services.* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).* HV Authorisation (preferred but not essential).* Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, HVAC, and critical systems (preferred).* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.* Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious.This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer who thrives in a critical environment and wants to develop further within a supportive and ..... full job details .....
