Data Centre Operations Technician - Hybrid Working

OverviewData Centre Technician - Up to £45,000

Location: West London

Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Friday - 13:00-21:00 and Saturdays 09:00-17:00

My client is seeking a Data Centre Technician to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking tech team, delivering high-impact services across multiple UK data centre sites.

Key Responsibilities

Complex cable management and structured cabling.

Racking, stacking, and patching of Servers and Switches.

Supporting a range of hardware and peripherals.

Troubleshooting issues and documenting tasks clearly.

Following and improving established operational processes.

Supporting the deployment and operation of high-availability infrastructure.

Working with fibre optics and transceivers.

Skills and Experience Required

Hands-on experience in data centre environments.

Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.

Good knowledge of hardware support and infrastructure.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Flexible and adaptable - comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
