Location: Leicester Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract (Extension Likely) Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35) Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off (12-Hour Shifts) About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Data Centre Engineer to join a leading team supporting multiple data centre environments across Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in data centre operations and structured cabling who is looking for a long-term contract opportunity with potential for extension. The successful candidate will work within critical infrastructure environments, delivering work to exceptionally high standards while supporting a range of cabling and connectivity projects. Key Responsibilities Installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems. Working with both copper and fibre cabling (primarily pre-terminated solutions). Supporting multiple data centre environments and critical infrastructure facilities. Following strict processes, procedures, and quality standards. Carrying out cable routing, dressing, labelling, testing, and documentation. Working safely and professionally within live operational environments. Participating in an on-call rota as required. Requirements Essential Previous Data Centre Engineer experience. Proven experience working within live data centre environments. Experience with structured cabling installations.
