Data Centre Engineer MandE Fareham Permanent position £45,000 to £50,000Our client, a leading provider in the data centre sector, is currently seeking a MandE Data Centre Engineer to join their team in Fareham. This permanent role requires you to predominantly be on-site at the Fareham data centre, with occasional travel to the company''s other data centres in the Southern region. You will work 12-hour shifts, operating on a 4 on, 4 off schedule, covering both days (6am - 6pm) and nights (6pm - 6am).Key Responsibilities:Provide first-fix support on Mechanical and Electrical (MandE) and minor fabric repairsOversee and coordinate contractors, ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are metDeliver small project works independently and as part of a teamOffer technical guidance and supervision on larger tasksContribute to reports and audits for the management teamMaintain accurate records, complete reports, and ensure timely updates across all systemsMonitor systems, environment, and MandE infrastructurePerform preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure facility upkeep and reliabilityManage stock, assets, and critical spares within the data centreEscort and assist third-party vendors and engineers on-siteCapture and maintain accurate asset dataSupport cross-connects, console access, and power verification activitiesAssist with rack installation, cabling, and hardware deploymentProvide on-site remote hands/smart hands support for remote IT teams during incidents and ..... full job details .....
