As a Data Center Facilities Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of data centers, providing customers with uninterrupted access to services. Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, specialists, and managers to deliver high standards of safety and security while optimizing costs.Responsibilities:Operate and maintain all mechanical, electrical, emergency generator, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal service level agreements.Perform limited maintenance tasks including filter changes, HVAC preventive maintenance, rack power installations, rack power distribution unit, and rack automatic transfer switch replacements.Support Data Centre Operations technicians.Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures.Adhere to safety procedures while performing work.Take daily operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds and log taking.Utilize internal Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage building workflows and spare part inventory.Supervise contractors performing servicing or preventive maintenance.Respond to off-hour emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation for regional sites.Fully comply with all physical security procedures and policies.Essential ..... full job details .....
