Data Cabling Engineer

Our client has a long term contract to support the IT infrastructure of the rapidly expanding Gatwick Airport.

As a result we can offer long term work to an experienced data cabling engineer with at least 5 years' experience of installing, terminating and testing Cat6 cabling. In addition, a knowledge of fibre splicing would be advantageous.

The work will be in the terminals at night and specifically will be providing network connectivity to the key functions of the Airport's operation including digital signage, CCTV, Access Control, baggage handling systems, information boards and all network users.

You must have CSCS (Preferably ECS engineer card), IPAF and a clean recent DBS check.
