Data Business Analyst - Investment Banking

Overview

A leading global investment bank is looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to support a major data initiative focused on IT Asset and Configuration Management. This role involves aligning business data requirements across global teams with enterprise architecture—particularly around the ServiceNow CMDB/AMDB platform.Key Responsibilities

Gather and document data requirements from business and IT stakeholders.Analyse data lineage, dependencies, and discrepancies across systems.Work closely with data architects to assess and validate technical solutions.Act as a key liaison for data consumers and producers across ServiceNow CMDB/AMDB.Support governance activities, documentation, and change control tracking.Coordinate with global teams to drive delivery of project milestones.Required Skills and Experience

5+ years as a Data or Business Analyst in enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, and IT Asset Management.2+ years\'' experience with ServiceNow, including CMDB/AMDB understanding.Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.Experience conducting data lineage and architecture analysis.Understanding of infrastructure and IT inventory systems.Soft Skills
