      <description>Location: London | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | We are recruiting for a Data Architect to join our IT team. This role will be responsible for defining and governing the organisation-wide data architecture, data standards, and data governance framework. The role sets the target-state architecture and roadmap for the enterprise data platform, and provides architectural guidance and assurance to the BI and Data Engineering teams. The role is focused on strategy, design authority, governance, and stakeholder alignment rather than hands-on development or platform deployment  Responsibilities include:  Strategy and Framework Development  Define and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework.Define data governance policies, standards, and procedures. Governance Leadership  Establish and lead a Data Governance Council.  Collaborate with data owners, stewards, custodians, and the BI and Data Engineering teams across departments.
