We''re supporting a specialist defence customer delivering a Microsoft-based transformation programme within a secure operational environment. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and implementing a proof of value using the existing Microsoft stack, introducing governance, improving project delivery processes and creating an end-to-end operating model. AI will come later, the immediate priority is building robust foundations.

The customer is open to a mix of Microsoft architects and engineers who enjoy delivering practical solutions rather than producing documentation alone.

• Designing and implementing the initial solution
• Building Power BI dashboards and reporting
• Configuring SharePoint and Jira
• Improving operational processes and delivery governance
• Creating an end-to-end operating model
• Working alongside an experienced delivery team

We''re looking for

• Existing DV clearance
• Strong Microsoft platform experience
• Solution Architecture, Data Architecture or Data Engineering background
• Power BI, SharePoint and Jira expertise
• Process improvement and operational delivery experience
• Defence, government or other complex enterprise environments are advantageous

This is an Outside IR35 contract with an initial six-month term and a strong likelihood of extension. You''ll typically spend around three days per week onsite in the South West, with occasional travel to other secure customer locations across the UK.
