Data Architect - Insurance (MDM). London/Travel/Inside IR35/Onsite Superb London based client are looking for a senior Data Architect with deep insurance domain knowledge to shape and deliver an enterprise-wide data strategy for a major client. The role Define and own the data architecture roadmap across the business Lead master data management (MDM) initiatives from design to delivery Modernise the data estate by integrating Legacy platforms with modern data technologies Set and enforce data governance and data quality standards Work with business and technology stakeholders to support data-driven decisions Provide strategic leadership and technical direction to data teams Support wider business transformation through better use of data Essential skills Proven background as a Data Architect at enterprise scale Hands-on MDM experience, including design and rollout Strong knowledge of both Legacy data platforms and modern data technologies Track record of migrating or integrating Legacy systems into modern data platforms Deep insurance sector experience (eg general insurance, life, specialty or reinsurance) Solid grounding in data governance, data quality and data modelling Confident working with senior business and technical stakeholders Desirable Experience with cloud data platforms (eg Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks) Familiarity with MDM tools such as Informatica, Reltio or Profisee Knowledge of insurance regulation and reporting (eg Solvency II, IFRS 17) TOGAF or ..... full job details .....
