We''re supporting a major programme that is modernising and transforming large-scale data processing capabilities and are looking for a hands-on architect who can bridge strategy, design and delivery.The RoleThis position will play a key role in shaping and delivering a cloud-based data platform built around AWS and Databricks. You''ll work across architecture, engineering and stakeholder teams to define target-state solutions, modernise existing data services and establish scalable deployment patterns.The successful candidate will be comfortable operating at both the architectural and technical implementation layers, helping to guide migration activity while remaining hands-on with infrastructure, automation and platform delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign scalable data processing solutions using AWS, Databricks and associated cloud services.Lead the transition of existing data workloads and integrations onto a modern cloud-native platform.Define platform standards covering security, networking, governance, workspace configuration and deployment approaches.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Databricks asset deployment frameworks.Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and modern DevOps practices.Configure, deploy and manage services across AWS and Databricks ..... full job details .....
