We are searching for an experienced Data and Information Governance Officer (Deputy Data Protection Officer) to play a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation meets the highest standards of compliance, transparency and information management. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the organisation, influencing how information is managed, protected and shared while helping to shape best practice and support a culture of accountability. The Role As our Deputy Data Protection Officer, you will be at the heart of the information governance framework, supporting the Data Protection Officer and leading on key areas of GDPR, Freedom of Information, Environmental Information Regulations and records management. You will work closely with colleagues across every service, elected Members and external partners, providing expert advice, developing policies, delivering training and ensuring compliance with an evolving legislative landscape.
