The RoleJoin Capco''s Data Strategy and Advisory team as a Senior Consultant, shaping enterprise-level AI and data strategies for the world''s leading financial institutions. This is a high-impact role for strategic thinkers passionate about the intersection of data, AI and business value. You will guide clients in envisioning and realising AI-driven competitive advantage - beyond tooling, beyond pipelines.

What You''ll Do

You''ll collaborate with C-suite clients to shape their strategic AI ambitions, aligning data and AI capabilities with competitive differentiation. You will:Act as a subject matter expert on emerging technologies, staying at the forefront of technological innovation and advising clients on how to strategically harness themLead the definition of data and AI strategies and unlock new value propositions by identifying high-impact data and AI use cases.Transform operating models to become more adaptive, autonomous, and insight-led shifting from traditional decision-making to AI-enabled ways of workingLead executive-level workshops and visioning sessions, aligning stakeholders around a strategic north star and unlocking cross-functional engagementDevelop strategic narratives and board-level business cases that build consensus and secure investmentCreating compelling strategy narratives and business cases that drive investment and executive alignmentCollaborate across Capco''s cross-functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Architecture, Risk, Product and Innovation, Data) to ensure strategic recommendations are actionable and groundedBeyond client delivery, you will help build Capco''s data and AI propositions by:Contributing to Capco''s perspective on how AI is reshaping the financial services value chainLeading business development conversations, shaping proposals, and positioning Capco as a thought leaderMentoring colleagues and embedding strategic thinking across the wider teamDeveloping strategy methodologies and accelerators to enhance Capco''s delivery capabilityWhat We''re Looking For5+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation ideally with FS exposureStrong understanding of data and AI domains, including GenAI, ethics and operating model designAbility to craft compelling PowerPoint narratives and influence senior audiencesExperience in workshop design, facilitation, and executive-level alignmentComfortable working in ambiguity, with a collaborative and outcomes-driven approachBonus Points ForStrategy experience within Financial Services (banking, insurance, asset management)Familiarity with GenAI, AI legislation (e.g. EU AI Act), or AI governance practicesUnderstanding of data tooling and analytical techniques at a strategic (not technical) levelExperience mentoring consultants and developing strategy acceleratorsDemonstrated thought leadership or business development in the AI spaceWhy Join CapcoDeliver high-impact technology solutions for Tier 1 financial institutionsWork in a collaborative, flat, and entrepreneurial consulting cultureAccess continuous learning, training, and industry certificationsBe part of a team shaping the future of digital financial servicesHelp shape the future of digital transformation across FS and Energy.We offer a competitive, people-first benefits package designed to support every aspect of your life:
