Data Administrator

The OpportunityWe are working with a growing business that is looking to appoint a Junior Power BI / Data Administrator to support the effective management, reporting and analysis of business data.This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their data career who has a genuine interest in Power BI, Excel and data analysis, and is looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive environment.The role will involve maintaining accurate data, producing reports and dashboards, supporting users and helping the wider business make better use of its data.The RoleWorking closely with colleagues across the business, you will be responsible for:Maintaining and updating company databases and data records.Supporting the creation and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards.Importing, cleansing and validating data from different sources.Producing regular management information and operational reports.Using Excel to analyse data and identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.Ensuring data is accurate, consistent and kept up to date.Responding to requests for reports and information from internal stakeholders.Supporting the development of new Power BI reporting as the business requirements evolve.Investigating data issues and working with colleagues to resolve them.Maintaining appropriate documentation around reports, data sources and processes.Providing general administrative support around data and reporting activities.
